        laliotis.hp-labs at udel-relay
        feldman.uci at udel-relay

Work is currently underway to develop a Name Server for
CSNET. Until that time, temporary directory information may be
FTPed from the CSNET Service Host (csnet-sh) using account name
anonymous and password guest. Directory filenames have the
general form /csnet/dirs/site-name. Other useful CSNET related
information may be found by listing the /csnet directory.

The current list of CSNET Phonenet sites is:

	cornell udel
	fcc-net uabcs
	hp-labs ucf-cs
	nsf-cs duke
	purdue nmtvax
	princeton unc
	uci upenn

General CSNET-related questions may be addressed to
csnet@csnet-sh. Requests for documents or addition to and
deletion from mailing lists should be sent to cic@csnet-sh.

Questions about Service Host information services may be
addressed to nameserver@csnet-sh or:

CSNET SERVICE HOST - AVAILABLE FILES

The CSNET Service Host at the University of Wisconsin is now
operational. The Service Host is a VAX 11/750 running standard
Berkeley UNIX (4.1 BSD). The Arpanet host name is CSNET-SH (IMP
94, Host 1).

Arpanet users may obtain the files listed below using FTP with
login anonymous and password guest. CSNET PhoneNet users and oth-
ers may obtain copies by sending a request to information@csnet-
sh. Requests to be added to the mailing list should also be sent
to information@csnet-sh.

All of the CSNET material available at the CSNET server host
in Wisconsin has been transferred (copied) to a <CSNET> directory at SUMEX-AIM.
there is a help file (one copy in <DOC> for the HELP program, another
in <CSNET> for FTPers) called CSNET.HELP which gives relevant info.

Mail-from: ARPANET site SUMEX-AIM rcvd at 20-Jun-82 1007-PDT
Date: 20 Jun 1982 1006-PDT
From: Bill Burgess <Burgess at SUMEX-AIM>

There are five new PhoneNet sites:
buffalo (State University of New York at Buffalo)
	pittsburgh	(University of Pittsburgh)
umass-boston	(University of Massachussets at Boston)
	gatech (Georgia Tech)
	minnesota	(University of Minnesota)

Messages may be sent to a PhoneNet site with the address:

			mailbox.site-name@UDel (e.g. fred.buffalo@UDel)

Details are in the <CSNET> directory at SUMEX, along with directories
for all PhoneNet sites and other nifty stuff. The first file to check
would be <CSNET>CSNET.HELP. Send questions, comments, etc. to me or
Bob <Tucker>.
